Valle de Colca: Minibus Diversion

En route to Valle de Colca we hopped out of the minibus to catch a glimpse of the ever elusive vicuña. Vicuña are small llama-like animals whose hair is prized for its softness. Vicuña are endangered and the amount of vicuña wool which is legally obtainable every year is very small. |
