These women are selling what we call "prickly pears" or cactus fruit. For 1/2 a sol you become the proud owner of a de-thorned and peeled pear.

They're pleasant tasting, but a bit different from the variety I'm used to in the U.S.. We stopped here to take a look at the incredible view.
