- The way into Petra -

This is the beginning of the journey into Petra. The erosion patterns of the walls of the gorge fascinated me -  it's as though the rock is melting. If you look in the upper middle part of this photo you can see the "ribbons" of rock.

Also, if you look at the lower left quadrant you can see my friend, Don, dwarfed by the enormous gorge.
