The streets are paved with bricks, the walls date back to Incan times. Even though it was September, I ventured out to buy a sweater from the local market. It was in the 60's F which turns out is quite typical for Cuzco that time of year, but I was expecting it to be warmer. The high altitude makes all the difference - the air is cool, but the skin burns easily under the harsh sun.
